May Flowers - Add Herbs to the Mix!




May is here! The Farmer's Almanac predicts a warmer and drier May this year - and another hot summer. May is the perfect time to get your potted plants started, including your herb garden. Placing your herbs near the grill makes it easy to add some zip to your outdoor summertime cooking. Although they thrive in sunshine, be sure to keep an eye on them and be sure to plant herbs with similar water requirements together. Here's a handy article to help you make the right decision when it comes to planting herbs in a pot.
